Training match against Kozármisleny

The visitors won 2-1 at the Sósto stadium with several youngsters given a chance in our team.

Taking advantage of the national team break, our team played a friendly match against Kozármisleny, the third-placed team in NB II, on Thursday afternoon in the Sóstói Stadium, behind closed doors. Head coach Bartosz Grzelak could not count on several of his core players, as Kodro, Flores, Kalmár, Fiola and Serafimov are with their national teams these days, while Milán Pető was invited to the U19 national team. Several young players therefore took their place on the bench before kick-off.

The first ten minutes were uneventful, and then the first chance came in the 10th minute, Pinto shot from 17 meters, with Lékai saving well. A minute later, Dani Kovács had to make a smart save at the other end, he tipped away Péter Horváth's shot from the bottom right corner, the rebound went to Major, who shot from 11 metres, but our goalkeeper was able to save it. In the 33rd minute, Katona's 18-metre awkwardly bouncing shot was saved by the visitors' goalkeeper, and then Horváth headed a cross from the edge of the box narrowly over the goal. In the 38th minute, Major also gave Dani Kovács something to work on, and in the 43rd minute Kozármisleny took the lead: Tamás Turi's shot rattled off the left post, the rebound fell to Zoltán Tóth, who made no mistake from eight metres (0-1).

At the break Schön was replaced by Karamoko, while Zoltán Aczél made several substitutions for the visitors. At the start of the second half Kirchner shot over from close range, and in the 60th minute Pinto headed over from a Christensen corner. In the 61st minute Szabó, Pinto and Katona were replaced by Gergényi, Berki and Márk Lakatos. The latter was born in 2005, has played in Austria, Germany and Italy, and made his debut for the U17 national team and has been training with Vidi II and the first team in recent days.

In the 64th minute, Péter Horváth headed over from a corner kick, but a few minutes later the visitors doubled their lead. In the 71st minute, Egerszegi made a great save inside the five-yard box from Berki, and in the 74th minute, Kastrati and Bambock left the pitch, replaced by two young Vidi II players - Fedor Futsek and Kevin Balla.

In the 77th minute, Berki's 15-metre shot was saved by substitute Péter Ipacs. In the 87th minute, Karamoko won a penalty, which he confidently converted (2-1). In the 93rd minute, we could have equalised, but Lakatos' eight-metre shot was confidently saved by goalkeeper Ipacs, leaving the final score 2-1 in favour of Kozármisleny.
