Slovenian national team striker joins Vidi!

Nejc Gradisar is a player of Fehérvár FC!

Nejc Gradisar will continue his career in Vidi, based on the agreement between our club and NK Rogaska of the Slovenian first division!*

The young Slovenian striker was born on the 6th August 2002 in Ljubljana and played as a youngster for NK Bravo in the capital, for whom he made his debut in the 2019/2020 season in the first division. He then spent two years in the second division, scoring 23 times in 55 games for Brezice and Rogaska.

Promotion with Rogaska to the first division followed, where he kept up his goal scoring record of 8 goals in 14 league games, and was also successful in the Slovenian Cup. A good performance earned him a national team call-up, scoring the winning goal as a starter in the January friendly against the USA, and he has previously made six appearances for the U21 national team.

"I was in favour of Fehérvár because here I have all the conditions to become an even better player and I can play in a stronger league than the Slovenian first division. I've seen some of Vidi's games, they are a strong, skilled team, I know that they have finished in the top three in recent years. My goal is to repeat this and to show ourselves on the European stage in the future. I am strong with my head, have good speed and I attack the open spaces - I would mention these as my strengths. My personal goal is to play as many matches as possible and score as many goals as I can. I hope to fit into the team as soon as possible and I'm looking forward to meeting my teammates," said our new signing after signing the contract.
